Internal links are changed?

Client of mine makes links from product a to all other a products but different colors.

So if your an productpage a in the text there will be a link to f.e.

meubels/product/25-modtro-fauteuil-denim/

But strangly (after upgrades form Joomla or others?) all links are changed to something like:


meubels/product/show/25-modtro-fauteuil-denim/category_pathway-42

So SHOW and category_pathway-42 are added?

can anybody explain this? And please provide an solution to provent this in the future.
And a solution to repair the changed links, bacause client has put a lot of time in it to make all these text and links.

Hi,

The "category_pathway part of the URL is added by the system based on the option "Simplified breadcrumbs" of the configuration. You must have changed it. Please toggle it and it will remove it.

the "product/show" part of the URL is displayed based on the "Activate smaller url" option of the configuration. You must have turned it off.
Please turn it on and it should revert back to the previous URL.

The solution in the future to prevent this is to not change these options.
