Add to cart not working on Windows

Hi,

Currently one of our products in our store isn't directing the user to the cart after they hit 'Add to cart'. It works the majority of the time on my mac but it doesn't work on my windows computer. I have tried it in 3 different browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome).

The rest of the products are working fine.

Joomla cache is disabled as well at the cache plugin. I enabled debugging and get the following errors:

Notice: Undefined property: JDocumentHTML::$_name in /home/hbguns/public_html/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 105
Notice: Undefined property: JDocumentHTML::$_name in /home/hbguns/public_html/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 107
Notice: Undefined variable: siteName in /home/hbguns/public_html/templates/j51_nebulous/index.php on line 78

Hi,

I tried on that page and others with my windows computer on several browsers and it worked fine for all of them.

I'm not able to reproduce the problem.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for the quick response. We tried on another PC but got the same problem. Is there something we can do to help you look into it more?

Did you also review the errors I mentioned that show up when I enable debugging. Would those have anything do with it?

Hi,

These errors are not linked to HikaShop and not related to your problem.

Please provide a way to reproduce the problem and we can look at it.

Hi Nicolas,

I had someone else test it and they had the same issue. They gave me the following specs:

'Im on Windows 7 enterprise edition, (64 bit), IE 8.0, and also Firefox 21.0 (latest)

I did it in both IE and Firefox and got the same result.'


Is there anything you can suggest or some way I can reproduce it for you? I would really like this fixed but I'm not sure what to do.

I tried with Firefox 22.0a2, Firefox 21, Internet Explorer 10, Internet Explorer 8.
All works fine.

Hi Nicolas and Jerome,

Thanks we were able to solve the issue. We changed the setting for 'After a product is added to the cart' from 'Stay if cart module is displayed' to 'Always go to checkout'. We didn't have a cart module displayed so we didn't think it matter but I guess it did.

Thought this might help in case someone else has this issue in the future.
