Could you install that new version of the "social networks" plugin via the joomla installer and try again ?

Can you try to change the font and/or the tag type options of the HikaShop social network plugin and see if that help ? Please make sure that you clear your website cache before testing.

Hi,

It's maybe a css issue, a css property hide the facebook content.
Or a connection problem with the facebook API, you maybe can't receive the facebook response because you are on localhost.

well, you sure are not helpful at all, just saying random things here and there try so hard to look clever but fails gracefully. Hikashop pays you to crowd the forum, no? 1 post = 1 penny? You are heaven to hell different with nicolas.

css issue? which part? fb like button has not showed up since joomla and hikashop are fresh installed from zero without even thinking to touch css yet. That was on joomla default template protostar

my live joomla 1.6 website can see fb like button everywhere in hosting and in localhost, they are working fine.

You Mr. Xavier, if my problem doesn't worth your time and penny, you don't need to reply anything. You are degrading hikashop.

Hi,

I don't see the problem with Xavier answers. These are all valid propositions that should be checked as they could potentially produce that problem. You didn't specify until now that you hadn't modified the CSS on your website and that you had the default template, so you could have well been a possibility.
Yes, Xavier is proposing potential solutions which might be correct or not, but without looking directly at the page CSS/JS/Network events, it's not possible for us to tell you precisely why this is happening.

If you want a precise answer from us on that issue, we will need to look at the page on an online website.

Now please don't have this attitude again. Insulting people has never enabled issues to be resolved faster, quite the opposite.

i do apologize for my harsh and insulting words. But you gotta admit the difference, one is asking for symptoms, details, history, etc, so one can give a proper solution to fix the problem; on other hand, one is directly giving any statements/ solutions to close the discussion.

Thank you nicolas

Hi,

We can't see your page in order to see precisely from where the problem can come.
So I was just giving some suggestions, if it solve the problem it's a good thing, else it give us more clues to find the origin of the problem.
I did not want to close the discussion, all we want is to solve the issues.
