Hi, I have a website with HikaShop and I have a problem.
Once in the shopping cart, when I go to register, the component asks me for a captcha, but no matter what I write, I take it for valid.

Hi,

Can you tell us your Joomla version please ?
Did you installed the reCaptcha component for HikaShop or do you have another captcha plugin ?

Hi,
You should then use the ReCaptcha on forms plugin which is the Hikashop captcha plugin.

Hi,
The ReCaptcha on forms plugin is enabled, but not working.
If I leave the captcha blank, or anything I write, the captcha take it for good.

Hi,

The Recaptcha plugin of HikaShop doesn't add any captcha on the reset page. So if you're using it, it's normal that you don't see any captcha on that page.

I don't know where this page is getting this code from, can you tell me where I can fix this?

<label id="jform_email-lbl" class="hasTip required" title="" for="jform_email">
Email Address:
<span class="star"> *</span>
</label>
</dt>
<dd>
<input id="jform_email" class="validate-email required" type="email" size="30" value="" name="jform" aria-required="true" required="required"> </dd> <dt> <label id="jform_captcha-lbl" class="hasTip required" title="" for="jform_captcha"> Captcha <span class="star"> *</span> </label>[email]" aria-required="true" required="required">
</dd>
<dt>
<label id="jform_captcha-lbl" class="hasTip required" title="" for="jform_captcha">
Captcha
<span class="star"> *</span>

That's clearly coming from the captcha system in joomla, not hikashop.
You should see if the captcha plugin of joomla is enabled or not. You should disable it.

Please note that this question has nothing to do with Hikashop. You should search/ask on forum.joomla.org where they should be able to better answer to such question than us.

ok, found the issue
if someone else has the same problem, it is not enough to disable Joomla Catchpa but you also need change the User Manager / Options / Captcha to 'None selected'
