Chrome browser back button

Hi I have weird problem and behavior seems to be different between browsers.

Lets say you select "King" in the mattress size dropdown, the price changes under the "price with options" but lets say you leave this the current product page and click on a related product. If you hit the back button in the browser in chrome it still has king selected as the mattress size but lists the default "twin" product price.

I noticed that in firefox it goes back to the default value twin when you click back??

How do I fix this I would like it
a)go back to the default value in all browsers when you click back
or
b)leave the selection on "king" and have the price stay the king price.

If you look at tempurpedic they have a similar site as far as layout. When you browse to another product and then click the back button on the browser it keeps the last selection and price.

When tryiing tempurpedic I select some value for the dropdown options, then click on another product, click on the back button, and some dropdown values are kept but others not, and the price has changed. (on firefox).
This issue seems to be very browser dependent.
