Hi
in the BACKEND
-I create a custom field that contain 4 values .
-This custom field has a default value .
-i create 5 product and each contain only one of the 2 values / 4 values
-i create one filter using this custom field
-i create one module filter using this custom field

in the FRONTEND
-The 4 values appear in filter and i select only one each time to test
1) if I don't select the first value and select other item , it is ok
product item appear relatif to the value , filter apply )

2) if i select the first value ( default value) , all the products appear ( no filter apply)
in a way select no item behave like select the item value which is also the default value

Hi,

Please provide:
- a screenshot of the options of the field
- a screenshot of the options of the filter
- a screenshot of the options of the module
- a link to the product page so that we can reproduce the problem

Hi,

The issue is that you use the value "0" for the first value of your custom field. Zero is interpreted as nothing and thus the system doesn't behave properly and think that you didn't select anything.

Thank's a lot . the custom field edit mode has no helper icon ... does this is documented ?
TAKE CARE
If i have for one field 0 ( index) , value1 and change it to 2 , value1
Then for each product ; the value value1 ll be change to old / past index values 0 .
so you have to change it index 0 to value1 .
Mass action can be use to update the change in an automatic way ....is very nice in this case
