Fixing MooTools dependency? Modal?

Was just curious if there was a way to fix the MooTools dependency with HikaShop?
I'm currently using a Joomla template built on Bootstrap3, obviously with jQuery and there is a nasty little conflict with MooTools-more and Bootstrap3 drop down menus. Namely after clicking on a drop-down and/or hovering over it, MooTools is making them disappear by adding an inline style "display:none".

If I remove MooTools using a Joomla plugin, then HikaShop fails to work due to the SqueezeBox modal, but I can not see any other obvious dependencies on MooTools. Is there a way to replace the SqueezeBox modal, OR is there a way to make MooTools behave so it does not make the BS3 drop downs disappear?

Thanks!

Jerome, thanks for the information. I'm assuming all I would need to do is choose the bootstrap method and then install the appropriate .js file for the bootstrap modal? Would this still work with BS3?

Hi,

The "bootstrap" popup use Joomla to include the appropriate content.
Afterwards, I don't know if your template will be compatible or not ; bootstrap 3 does not have a very good retro-compatibility with bootstrap 2.

But, with the next HikaShop release (2.6.1), we will propose a new popup system which is based on jQuery (no mootools, no bootstrap).
