First of all, great job on this product.

If everything seems as great as it is, I will be purchasing one of the two options.

I had a general question about adjusting the flow in the checkout process.

I am moving away from my current cart in my site for a number of reasons, but I do like some of the aspects of the flow.

For instance, when a user goes to the cart, the first thing they see is a list of the products in the cart with images. They can then update the cart with different quantities, continue shopping, or checkout. Only then to they go to a form that says login or register. I am concerned about forcing register right away will scare away potential customers.

Also, is there anyway around sending an email link to register and then continue checking out? That really disrupts the flow of the checkout process.

I was just wondering where I start the process to make these changes using your product.

Your product is so robust, I am not sure where to start.

See included images to see what I am referring to.

So, my questions in summary:

When a user adds a product to cart, can they go to a page that shows the product(s) listed with Update/Continue/Checkout -- only when they select Checkout will they go to the registration form
If I don't want to use the email the registration to the user can that step be skipped entirely?

Thanks so much.

Hi,

First, I moved your post to the "how to" section. The showcase section is only for posting addresses of websites using HikaShop.

1. In the config, under the tab checkout, you have the "checkout workflow" option that you can change to do that: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...config.html#checkout
For example, something like this might be what you're looking for:
cart_coupon,login,address,shipping,payment,confirm_cart_coupon_status_fields,end

2. In the joomla configuration, you have the option to disable email confirmation. HikaShop uses that option so that it behaves the same way as the joomla registration. After disabling that option, hikashop will send an email with the account information but without any confirmation link and the user will just go to the next step of the checkout without having to check his emails.
