Special Offer Products

Hi Nicolas,
My client is asking for a 'Special Offers' section that displays products from any of the product categories on the site. I know how to create a new module to place in a particular area of the website (i.e. left column or underneath the main page area) but not sure how I can link only specific products given a "Special Offers' status.
Have you any idea of how this could be done?

You can just create a special category that you will leave unpublished so that it doesn't display in your other listings. Then, add that category to the specific products you want in your module (you can have several categories for one product) and finally create a new hikashop content module and set the parent category as that category so that it displays a listing of the products in that category and voilà (make sure that the synchronization option is turned off in the module).
