Multi lanaguage not working in Biz version

I want to use the multilanguage ability in the biz edition to display metric sizes to UK customers and imperial sizes to US customers, also to change words like color and colour etc.

* I have Joomfish installed with en-GB and en-US
* Using multi language tabs in 'Characteristics'
* In HS back-end the language tabs show OK and I can enter values and enable them for each language
* Flags also showing OK in front-end

PROBLEM
When each flag is clicked (and page reloads with correct URL) in the front-end the text does not change, it stays as the text entered in the 'Main Information' tab

Could you check that the joomfish system jfdatabase plugin is activated in the plugins manager of joomla ?

Could you also check if you see your translated content in the joomfish back end ? Do you have the hikashop content elements ? If not, it means that hikashop could not install them automatically because of access rights issues on your website. You will have to go in FTP and copy them from the folder administrator/components/com_hikashop/translations to administrator/components/com_joomfish/contentelements

Thanks nicolas for getting back so quick.

The HS content elements were not instaled in Joomfish. Probably because I installed Joomfish after upgrading to biz edition. Also needed to clear the Jommla cache before it all worked. Might be worth adding to documentation if Joomfish is added after HS is installed to follow the instrictions in your post
