Could you check that the joomfish system jfdatabase plugin is activated in the plugins manager of joomla ?
Could you also check if you see your translated content in the joomfish back end ? Do you have the hikashop content elements ? If not, it means that hikashop could not install them automatically because of access rights issues on your website. You will have to go in FTP and copy them from the folder administrator/components/com_hikashop/translations to administrator/components/com_joomfish/contentelements
