Pictures Under Categories Listing Too Small!

Hi I need help regarding the pictures I uploaded under the categories listing page.

Whenever I upload the pictures, it gets automatically resized to very small (similar to thumbnail size) in the front end despite my large picture dimensions. Please teach me how to prevent this as it is ugly. Thank you.

Could you do a screenshot of your tab "files" in the configuration ?

are you referring to this screenshot i have here?


i also have a screenshot for the frontend. as you can see that is the best i can achieve in the frontend, i am unable to stretch the pictures bigger to occupy the entire grey box for example.

I was following all possible ways to change the size of the thumbnails but could not have the desired result. The thing is that under a specific category of product a small thumbnail looks good where on another product range it looks terrible. The thing is it can only work as an universal change and not as change category based. Is that correct or do I miss something here?

If you want a different thumbnail size for different categories, you need to do like on that thread then:
