Categores display

Our high school has a competition e-business site, and we use joomla/ hikashop. We are trying to figure out how to change the display of our categories when we click on one category with several sub-categories. Currently the sub-categories display vertically down from oneanother, but we would like them to be horizontal right next to one another.
We would really appreciate any help that anyone can offer, Thanks :)

You should be able to do that either with the options or some CSS.
Could you give a link to that page so that we can use firebug and give a more precise answer ?

You can go in the menu Display->content menus and edit your menu "event tickets". There, you can select the number of columns.
