Auto e-mail to supplier

I don´t now if this is possible but..

We are using different supplier on our site - we sell the products and then send the order to a third-party (who then send the product to the customer) - ie we never came in contact with the product, we just take the money and send the order to the supplier.

I would like to setup, so when a customer buy product an e-mail is sent auto to that supplier (and us also).
Is this possible?

For a new feature it would be great if the supplier then could click on an auto-generated link in the same mail, when he has shipped the item. When he click that link, a ping or email is sent back (as confirmation of shipment).
