Variant quantity issues

Hello,

I am advancing along with hikashop and getting to know it better to where I can really use and modify it.
But I have a serious problem now.

When I have a product -- a pair of shoes -- with only one list of variants -- size -- and I change the variant from the dropdown menu, it does not modify the product. If I continue to checkout it allows me to checkout without any warning. Also if I try to checkout with a variant that is out of stock -- has a back-end quantity of '0' -- it also allows me to purchase the product.

Is there some kind of pop=up that happens when someone tries to select a product that is not in stock. I would like some warning to appear and an invitation to write me to make a special order. Does hikashop offer something like this?

I have updated to the latest version. Still no luck.

The product page to were you linked does not work anymore so we can't see the problem.

I don't see any variant information on your page. As if you edited the file show of the view product and removed the code which handles the variants switching. Is that the case ?

I did indeed change the product show view. But I only reordered the code -- as you helped me do yesterday in another thread.

Please remove temporarily your modifications and try again.
If that works, then, the problem must come from your modifications.

I have changed back to the defult css file. But has not changed the status of the problem. The variant still goes to the configured default size but doesn't change anything when I select another variant.

CSS is not related to the problem. I was talking about modifications of the views via the menu Display->Views. Please check the file show of the view product there.
