Alternate Merchant Services

I noticed HikaShop has plugins for a few merchant services (Moneybookers, Authorize.net, Bluepaid) but my clients don't want to switch their merchant account to one you support. Is there any way to process credit card information through HikaShop using a Cardservice International/First Data ( www.firstdata.com/fdis/ ) or through Elavon ( www.elavon.com/acquiring/costco/ ) ? I saw there was a generic Credit Card option in the Payment Method Plugins, so I thought there might be some way to link that to one of these merchant services.

Hi,

It is possible to create payment plugins for HikaShop as explain in the documentation:

About "First Data", we found some API documentation on their website:

We didn't find information about "Elavon" system payment but there is a plugin for osCommerce which could be useful in order to understand how this system works:

If you don't have the possibility/resources to develop the plugin, you can ask for a quote though our "contact-us" page.
