Are there any demo shop files we can download?

Hi,

I'm totally new to Hikashop and have just installed it in a local Joomla 1.6 and are quite lost in how/what to do.
Usually it's pretty helpful to load a default shop so you can see how things are setup and go from there.

So... are there any demo shop files i can download with a few products and so on?

There is a demo shop on demo.hikashop.com
If you want to get the categories/products data, you can go in the back end and export the products. Then, you can import them on your website but you won't have the images, etc.
The bet is to directly look in the demo website...
We had made a zip of the data of the demo website there: www.hikashop.com/support/forum/2-general...ta.html?lang=fr#8274
So you can get the images from there.
