Personalization of only one product

I wrote a post in this forum a few days ago, but I'm opening this new thread because the complexity of my client's project has increased, and now I'm still wondering if Hikashop business version could fit my case requires.
I have to build an e-shop which sells only one product: a model of bag (so this is the only thing with a price set). Then the costumer should have the possibility to choose one or more little human pictures among 9 available (to be printed offline on the bag), and for each one to select a name (with an "item custom field") and a color. My doubts are:
1) each little draw doesn't have a price, so I can't handle it like a normal product (and so I can't set for it custom fields, and make it addable to cart); am I wrong about this?
2) how can I build an e-shopping linear process, where costumers must select the bag with price first, in order to proceed with the selection of the free pictures (each one with its custom input text field), and then (only at this point) place the "add to cart" button, to go to checkout where all the information about the bag, the pictures with their respective chosen colors and names will be registered in the order?
3) is there the possibility for me to ask Hikashop staff of developers to create customized plugins and codes to implement system behaviors that I need in my e-shop ?(not for free, of course!)
