Category menu, sub categories

I have a category menu for hikashop. However, it only shows the main categories. I want it to show the sub category when someone clicks on the main category.

I can set it to always show the sub categories, but thats not what I want (also this messes up the display).

Is there any way I can set it so if the user clicks an item in the category tree, the subcategories open, but only the subcategories for that category?

I hope this makes sense.

Example of what I mean:

thanks in advance for any help you can give

Of course. We have that on our demo website: demo.hikashop.com

Here is the hikashop options screen for that module: www.demo.hikashop.com/administrator/inde...odules&task=edit&cid []=55

Hi,

I have exactly same question. How to manage my main menu and sub menus. Maybe I am a little bit slow but I really didn't get how to set it up. I saw your demo site and read your tutorial: 'Listing of categories with a menu'
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...html#categories_menu

but I still don't understand how to do.

I have a simple navigation

Main menu item A
-Sub menu item A01
-Sub menu item A02
-Sub menu item A03
Main menu item B
-Sub menu item B01
-Sub menu item B02
-Sub menu item B03

In Admin when I go to Menu Manager: Menu Items, there is only one option under HikaShop categories 'Categories listing'. There isn't something like 'Subcategories listing'

Then in front-end when I click 'Main menu item A', on the page it shows:
Main category item A and
Main cat item B.

However I want it to show only
Sub cat item A01,
Sub cat item A02,
Sub cat item A03.

Is there any way to do it?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

The categories listing on the left of our demo website is made with a MODULE not a menu.
So you should follow the tutorial "categories with a module" and not the one you followed.
