Is there a step-by-step tutorial for setting up the Hikashop Social Plugin?

I'm trying to enable facebook like-buttons on my product pages. Nicolas from support has been very quick to answer my questions (as usual), but I still can't get it working.

So without any more questions:

Would someone please post a simple step-by-step tutorial on doing this? ;)

Thanks!
Best regards, Alex

Hi,

You should look at that post with a screenshot on how to setup your facebook account: www.hikashop.com/en/support/forum/4-how-...ebook-how.html#18349

For the plugin options, I believe you already saw the documentation but I post it for other users who would find that thread looking for it: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...ook-and-twitter.html

ok, I think it works, but:

- Shouldn't the "likes" alså show up on my facebook profile page?
- I see the comment field a brief moment, then it disapears.
- I get this error:
www.facebook.com/connect/connect_to_node_error.php?title [func]=fbt_raw_array_unwrapped&title[func_args][0]&title[func_args][1][0]=Website+Inaccessible&title[munge]=1&title[need_force_raw]=0&title[locale]=nb_NO&hash=AQCiSPnw21GUAqHS

Source, www.greenspot.no (offline for the moment...)
The facebook page: www.facebook.com/pages/Greenspot/125551360862280

One more thing:
When adding a facebook application for this to work - this application also has a wall to configure (if you want to).
So is it correct to
a) create a fb page for the website
b) create a application for this plugin to work
c) set up the application as described in the screenshotscreenshot ?

Best regards,
Alex

If the website is offline, or protected with a htaccess or in maintenance, facebook won't be able to retrieve the information and thus you won't be able to use the like button.
Would that explain the problem ?
I don't know if it should display on your fb page. It should however display on the fb page of the person clicking on the like. That's the goal of the plugin.

Hi,

The social plugin has not been made for listings. When in a product page, it get the current product id, so in the listing it can't get the "cid" for each products. So it need to be changed in order to work in the product listings.

PHP knowledges are requiured.
