Is hikashop easily integrated with google checkout?

There will be a google checkout plugin available with next version of HikaShop (before the end of the week) so that you can easily integrate HikaShop with Google Checkout.

Is it better to wait for the next version or should i continue working with the current version and just append the plugin when it is released this week. what do you advise?

You can already start your work and update once the new version gets out. You won't loose your data/settings.
