Hi, I've asked already about card owner field in paypal pro, but I tried authorize.net plugin and it seems to have the same issue? I don't understand why is that so? I saw some websites with authorize and they have this field, also, if I use sim method then it also has a name on card field.

Maybe I'm doing smth wrong, but I can't add the field. I tried quite a bit of options, but only cc number, ccv and expiration are displayed.

Yes, there is no credit card owner field for Authorize.net AIM API because authorize.net does not offer the possibility to do that.
It's not that we don't want to, we could of course add that field on the checkout. However, we would not be able to give it to authorize.net so there is no point in asking it.
Here is a list of the AIM API fields that authorize.net support (in the " Appendix B - Alphabetized List of API Fields"):
developer.authorize.net/guides/AIM/
As you can see, there is no API field for the credit card owner name.

The SIM API of authorize.net indeed has that possibility.

if i add the field, will I see somewhere it once the person submitted it or it will be lost?

I'm quite sure that my boss won't like it as you see everywhere it's asked for the card owner's name.. :( What r my options then? :( only use sim method? (sorry to be such a hassle...)

It will be lost. HikaShop does not save the credit card information for security reasons and because there is no need to save the credit card information. The authorize.net plugin sends that information to authorize.net but since authorize.net does not provide that possibility, it won't be able to give the credit card owner name to authorize.net.
You could always add it to the order as a custom field with some code modifications if you really want it but that will require you to know programming...for something which is not necessary.

You can also use the SIM API yes, or another payment gateway. For example, CardSave proposes that possibility so that you could still have the credit card form on your checkout with the owner field activated.
