Order status is not updated to confirmed

Hi Nicolas,

I am in process of testing PayPal payment method. When an order is being processed and complete through paypal, the order status in hikashop remains as created and does not update to confirmed.

Any idea as to why this may be happening?

Looks like one of the listed possibilities are applicable to my case - my website is currently protected.

What options do I have to fully test PayPal process without publishing my website as it's not ready yet?

You should forbid registrations in the joomla configuration and remove the htaccess protection. That way, people would see the website but woudl'nt be able to purchase or register. The website need to be accessible so that paypal can notify HikaShop of the payment.
