Help i broke my cart with the confirm step

Hi,
i had a checkout workflow all on one page without a confirm. then my client wanted to see how the confirm a separate step worked so i added it in. now when i tried to go back to the steps i had no matter what i do it wont show my "fields" and shows a next button.

here is what i have:
shipping_payment_cart_confirm_status_fields_login,end

what i had done to see the steps was the following:
shipping_payment_cart_status_fields_login,confirm_address_cart_status,end

what i had when it was working was like the first one above but i am not certain about where the confirm was in the list. i have tried it in every position but nothing works. now without the extra step and confirm my page shows a confirm next no matter what i do before the custom fields... and then when you click next it processes the order...

if i take confirm out entirely it shows me all the fields etc on the first page, but then gives me a confirm page ...

my store has a no payment checkout process.

gah.. i restarted my browser and now it works. sorry...
