Thumbnail Pics for Categories and Images for Prod

Hello,

I need to be able to use "thumbnail" images for the category pics and "image" pictures for the products.

I turned off "thumbnail" in configuration/files and this then shows the product image and can use the image selector in good quality. But this turns off thumbnails for the categories. Using thumbnails for the product is not good due to the quality.

Have read the user guides and searched forum be cant find the answer.

Hi,

You need to keep that option turned on. Make sure that you have the latest version of HikaShop

Then, set the thumbnail height/width option of the files tab of the config for your products pages. Then, in the hikashop options of your menus and modules, you will find additional thumbnail height and width options for each products and categories listing menu and module that you created. You can access them via the menu Display->Content menus/modules.
