products/categories listing

Hi!

I'm not able to get the desired result.

I would like to have a menu item named Shop.
This lead to a page, where there are the pictures and link for all the categories of products.
When I click on a category of product, I would like to have a page that display the products listed by creation date. So the new products first.

How can I get this result?

I tried several times to change all the options I can but with no success...

I already have the menu item SHOP, and the categories are right, but then the products are displayed randomly (and the option for the random is turned off)

ps: I looked to other posts, but I didn't solve the problem...

Hi,

The problem indeed comes from the random option which was still off in the associated module used to display the products listing:

When you have a menu displaying categories, there is a module which is created automatically and associated to that menu. The menu displays the category listing, and then it calls the module which displays the products.
Thus, the hikashop options of the menu are for the category listing. And the hikashop options of the module are for the products listing.
