Checkout page showing billing address twice

Hi all

I'm new to hikashop and fairly new to Joomla but im getting to know my way around it a bit

My problem is that when I go to the hikashop checkout page it shows the billing address and shipping address check box twice, one bellow the other. Ive been through everything I can think of in the back end and can't find anything that might be causing this and also can't find anyone else online with a similar situation

Any advice would be greatly welcomed

It's probably because in the "checkout workflow" option of your configuration, you have the "address" view twice. You should delete one of them and it won't happen.

Thanks Nicolas. I thought that might be it too so I tried to remove one off the address steps. I dragged it to the trash icon and it disappears but when I click on save the second address step reappears in the sequence

I think I have sorted it. For some reason I had to remove both address steps from the workflow so that the one that reappeared after saving was the only one left. Any ideas why the steps could be reappearing after saving? I have noticed that it does it when I try to remove any of the other steps too.

Confirmed - If you're seeing two addresses on checkout, remove both from the work flow, save and close and when you go back to configuration, only one address option will be there.

Well, it's doing this for everything: coupons, terms and conditions, etc.

We'll fix that in HikaShop and add an option to disable the graphical drap&drop workflow so that you can still use it the old way.

There is already an option to switch between the old and new? See attached. Just seems the new one has a few bugs still.

I don't the the the advanced checkout workflow yes/no option. Im using 1.5.4

You need to redownload the install pakcage on our website and install it over your current version. That will then display the option. Also, the problem should be solved.

Will the new version be available to me using the link that e-mailed to me for the Business version? And as updates become available, are they only available to me using the link and 1 of my 50 downloads?

I know it is a very old post, but i am having the same problem with HikaShop Essential: 2.3.4

When i am checking out, it shows me twice the Billing Address as well as the Shipping Address.

I was running on 2.3.3 so i updated it to 2.3.4 but still the same problem.

Can anyone guide me how to solve this issue.?

Hi,

Please give us a link to your website.

Do you have one Billing and one Shipping displayed ? If it is, it's a normal case.
If you don't want shipping because you have only virtual products or something else, so you just have to remove the shipping step in your checkout workflow.

Here is our Dev website.

We need to display it, but not twice, as if you do a checkout once and you do it again with guest checkout you will see two times the addresses for both Shipping and Billing.

Hi,

I just tried on your website and the address is present only one time.
I don't have any issue when checking out on your website. I have done two checkout as guest and I have only one address displayed.

You have maybe a session issue, do you have tried with another browser ?

Now that problem is gone. but have got another issue as described on this post:

I have'nt edited any views related on the address part of the checkout, so what can be the cause of this issue?
