Product Display Order

Ok this might sound like a stupid question but i have changed all the places i can see to display the newest products first on this site and i cannot get them to display in that order...

Does anyone have any ideas on how to change the product display so that the newest products display first?

You can configure the ordering of your products via the hikashop options of your listing. On your website, they can be accessed by editing the module with the id 34 via the menu Display->Content modules.
There, you will find an ordering column option and an ordering direction option.
Also, if you set there that you want to use the ordering column, you can configure manually the ordering of each product via your products listing of your back end with the corresponding column.

I have done that now and they look a load better, the client wanted to kow if it could be done by the creation date, and thats what i was attempting to do but could not get it to work, by using the ordering its working now so i will make sure thats is how its done in future.
