Hi Nicolas,

First of all, tnx for the help when i was on holiday...

On our webshop we added a module to add new users from the frontend, because my client want to give his customers a login and PW.
They are also in the customers section of Hika... so far so good.

Is it possible from the frontend to add there address, VAT nr and all the fields needed liike when ordering?
If i don't do this directley and the customer ordered something, theres a long list of shipping cost, because the address is still empty.

Hi,

If you create the user via the user registration form of HikaShop, you will be able to set his address.
You can create a menu to that form by creating a new joomla menu of the type hikashop user registration via the menu manager of joomla.

Nicolas,

I don't have that option in my HIKASHOP types?

On your website, Joomla transforms the word "user" to "Gebruiker"
I can see the registration form type below that entry of your menu type selection. That's the one you should choose.

That's of course because you're already logged in. Instead of displaying you the registration form, it displays you your user control panel.

Nicolas,

I think i explaned it not so good.

When a customer wants to order from the webshop, he must first fill in a form with his data, and ask the company for a Username and login.

The administration of the company want to add a new user from the frontend... i found an plugin to do this on the Joomla side..., but we can only enter his name, email, username and login.

But as long we not put in his address etc in Hikashop and he ordered something, we get a complete list of shipping cost, because he don't have an address already.

So what we like to do is , adding the address data etc... into Hikashop customer fields from the frontend, for that user.

I hope i explained it a bit better...

So, if I understand correctly, your adminsitrator is already logged in with his own account when creating the user account. Then, that would require some custom development to create a form so that he could fill the address of other users from the front end.

Hi Nicolas,

That's the correct situation...
Can you mail me the cost for programming?

Costs would depend on how you want us to do it. For example, you might want us to modify the form you already have to create the user. However, if you want us to do that, we would have to look at the script you've got before deciding how much it would cost or even if it's possible.

So, before we can answer you, we first need to you give more information on what you want us to do precisely. You can do so by sending us a message on our contact form and we will reply to you.
