Products not showing from category module ??

Hello
I created a module of a list of the categories. But when I click on a category, it only shows the subcategories and no products, and even when I click on a subcategory it doesn't show any products (just blank page) The weird thing is that this was working fine just an hour ago, and now suddenly it doesn't work. I cant find any specific documentation for this. Can you please explain to me how does this module work? I also notices that inside my content modules I have this module Associated products listing for category listing menu 164 duplicated 6 times (I didn't create this module) and I also have Associated products listing for category listing menu 163, Associated products listing for category listing menu 161, Associated products listing for category listing menu 159, I did not create any of these but obviously they have something to do with the categories module I did create.
Why aren't any products showing? it was working fine before??

Yes i deleted everything and did it again and now it seems to work.
However there is one litle thing that I cant figure out. When the products show, the name of the category and the subcategories are shown below the products, I would like the category name and subcategories to show on the top and the products below.(this is how it was before the problem) do you know how to do this??
