cart not working error 500 on debug

hi nicolas,
i added some custom fields and my cart stopped processing. click place order and nothing happens. so i turned on debug and then when trying to access the home page i get the following error message i cant even get to any store pages:

JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1054 - Unknown column 'ordering' in 'order clause' SQL=SELECT * FROM jos_languages WHERE published=1 ORDER BY ordering ASC

this is with joomla 1.7.1 and hikashop 1.5.4

moreinfo: so i deleted the new fields (3 Order fields and 1 Product Field) and now the store works.

thanks i will try that. the cart is now working. i deleted all the custom fields and remade them and it now works. must have screwed something up.
