Exclude Category From Being Listed

Hello. I just purchased the Business version of HikaShop and I am very impressed with it so far. There is just a couple things I could use some help on that I would much appreciate.

I need to add options to certain products (if a customer wants to upgrade the product he is purchasing). The problem is, the products I create for these options I do not want to be seen by the customer. Thus, is it possible to create a category called Product Options... add the products that will only be used as options in there... and then exclude that category from being shown? If so how would you do this?

I don't want to use variants, because variants change the original price where options just add to the original price.

Any help would be much appreciated!
