moving to a virtual server.

hello,
I recently had to move my joomla/hikashop site to a new virtual server. I changed all the necesarry things for joomla and udloaded the data base etc..
I now that with VirtueMart some code had to be adjusted in the php files of the component. DO I have to change anything in VirtueMart configuration or files when moving the site from a normal hosted server to a Virtual server (using the same domain name)?
