Hi,

I added some custom fields to user table. I want users to be able to edit these fields when they login to their account.
However, when going into Customer Account, it showed only default Joomla account fields. There is no custom fields displayed.
These custom fields did show on the front-end registration form and back-end user information, but not in Customer Account when users login to their account.
How do I make these custom fields shown in Customer Account and also make them editable?

Hi,

That's not possible. The User account edition page is a joomla page not a HikaShop page. Thus, it's not possible for HikaShop to modify it to add custom fields into it.
You would have to hack joomla's code for that and that won't be easy.

Hi Nicolas,

So is there any way to show them in a HikaShop page? Just like custom field for address table - you are able to see them in registration screen, back-end, and when users login to their account they can see/edit them as well.

Regards,
Alan

Hi,

You should be able to see the custom user fields in your backend with you edit the user in HikaShop.
For the front end however, the user won't be able to change it once entered in the checkout as the profile edition page is not a HikaShop page but a joomla page where HikaShop cannot add custom user fields.
Custom code would be necessary to allow the user to change the value of these fields.
