Everything seemed to be working but now a couple of issues have arisen.

1) it is somehow stuck in test mode with authorize.net. I have turned off test mode at authorize.net, yet cannot find where to turn it off in Hikashop - is there a new authorize.net # I need? Am I missing it somewhere?

2) User is trying to order and get the following error:

"There was an error while processing your transaction: 123 This account has not been given the permission(s) required for this request."

We have the minimum user requirement set. We do NOT want them to have to activate through the activation email and then come back to finish the transaction.

I will PM or privately email user name and passcode as this is a live site.

1. There is a debug option in the authorize.net plugin which should be turned off. Please check on that field.

2.
Looking on that page www.authorize.net/support/merchant/Trans...onse_Reason_Text.htm the error you have comes from your Login ID:

The transaction request must include the API Login ID associated with the payment gateway account.

If you don't want the activation email, you should turn it off in Joomla. You can do that in the configuration of joomla if you're using joomla 1.5 or in the options of the user manager in joomla 1.6 or 1.7.

We do have the authorize.net login information, and we do have debug set to "no".

Regarding issue #2.

Are you saying the error is an authorize.net error? We've turned off the activation error. We're getting this error when we try to order a product.

"There was an error while processing your transaction: 123 This account has not been given the permission(s) required for this request."

Yes, it is an authorize.net error because the information your entered in the plugin is not correct. Make sure that you're using authorize.net API login ID and not your authorize.net login. You should ask authorize.net if you don't know what login to use in the plugin configuration. They should be able to tell you where to find it.
