Product Ordering Problem

I Just added a new product to my client's store, however; the product does not show up first in the front-end. I changed the ordering of the products in their category in the backend, but that doesn't have any affect on the front-end. The ordering field in the menu options for the store is category_ordering and if I adjust the ordering of the categories, they do move around in the front-end, but the products are unaffected.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.9 and HikaShop 1.4.7

You need to give more information so that we can understand the problem. In which category did you add your product ? Could you give a link to the page where the product should be displayed ?
If you add it to another category, do you have the same problem ?
It could come from the number of items option of your products listing menu/module which is set for example to 10 and that product is the 11th product of that category and you activated the "random" option for the products listing and thus you don't see the pagination to go to the second page where you have that 11th product.

The product in question is called "Cat.Chat VBS #4: A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer – With Amazing Angels and Super Saints". The products are displayed with a content module called products (see attachment ss2.jpg). If I make changes to this module the display of the products is reflected (such as # of columns). However; when I change the ordering field or direction... nothing happens.
