Hey guys,

So far this is an amazing solution to virtumart. Just great. But, I am really confused right now.

I have my cart set up like this:

Top menu links to> categories page > each categorie has a child category. But, once I view a product, there is no way to see the page - only a module. I have read the documentation about linking new menu items/modules but whatever I try just ends up not working.

You can see an example here > 174.122.175.121/~usoc/

Click "purchase/repair" and then view the GE category > monitors > sample product.

How do I make a product page and then get that product to link from that product module?

Thank you.

Hi,

That's because you turned off the option "Link to the product page" in the hikashop options of the module with the id 114 that you can find via the menu Display->Content modules in HikaShop.

I'm facing the exact same problem, however Nicolas, your solution doesn't apply or there is a problem with my installation. When I go into Display -> Content Modules, "Link to the product page" isn't an option. I have the following options:

Associated products listing for category listing menu 107
Associated products listing for category listing menu 202
Associated products listing for category listing menu 202
Associated products listing for category listing menu 138
HikaShop Cart Module
HikaShop Content Module

I have the Cart Module and Content Module both enabled.

Yes, you need to edit each "Associated products listing for category listing menu " of that listing and you will see that option there.

So this is where I'm confused.

I went into Content Modules and created a new module. I attached a screen shot of the setup. Is this where I'm going wrong at?

Why are you creating a new module ? I told you that you should edit the existing modules and change the "Link to the product page" there, not to create a new module.

Ok, yer right. I completely misread it. So i need to turn on "Link to the product page" on each of the 4 modules?

Ok, I enabled it in each option. And it worked. Thank you very much for your patience :)

Ok guys, Im back! So, I'm following what you're saying up to a certain point. I went to menu > display> content modules but then that's where I get lost. I have enabled the content module and it's in position 7 of my template which isn't a visable position.

When I refresh the product page for

174.122.175.121/~usoc/index.php/depot-re...category/14-monitors

I still don't see a link or anything taking me to a new page. :\

I never said to edit the "content module".
Please follow the directions posted earlier:

That's because you turned off the option "Link to the product page" in the hikashop options of the module with the id 114 that you can find via the menu Display->Content modules in HikaShop.

So just edit that module and you will see that option.

WAIT!

It worked! Thank you, sorry I didn't read it closely. So simple now, omg. Thanks. I think I'm going to upgrade.
