Zones only in English?

In looking through the zones, I see that you have the name of the zone, which can appear in the alphabet of the zone, and the name in English. Although I notice when I look at sub-zones, that isn't always the case. The name and name in English are the same, and usually int he alphabet of the zone.

Two questions:

First, is there a way to get all the zones to appear using the name in English? If we receive orders from another country with a different alphabet, and we can't read it, how are we supposed to work with it?

Second, do you have a list, or plan to have a list of sub-zones with names in actual English?

We are just trying to see how we are going to handle this before we go live.

Thanks!

If someone can give the english name of zones for his country we can put them in. We did it for Japan for example as we know them. It's just that the database we used to add the "states" didn't contain that information.

Regarding the addresses, they are displayed with the name in the original language, not in english, even if you put the name in english in HikaShop. You can always look online for the corresponding english name. But usually, people would export their orders in CSV and print the labels with a tool provided by their shipping company (or bought somewhere). So that is not really a problem as it will just be shipped to the destination country (which is in english in the address) and shipping companies only need the country to calculate shipping fees and the people in the destination country will know how to read the state, it will actually be easier for them.

Thank you for the reply and feedback. I am working with the client to see how they can work this into their process. The issue is that once an order is placed online, they don't fulfill the order themselves. They have a distributor at a warehouse ship the orders. The communicate with the distributor through and antiquated system, and we are uncertain if it can handle the unicode names.

We will work it out though.
