Per instructions, I have removed the necessity for users to register in order to purchase, and I have removed the Log In fields. However, customers get an “Account details” email with “Thank your for registering” and a unsername and password. How can I change this?

Thank you,

Paul

Hi Paul.

If you set the option "registration" to "no registration" in the tab "Display" of the configuration, those fields won't be displayed and no email will be sent.
This option is only available in the commercial version of HikaShop

Hi I just recently purchased hikashop essential, i tried this option but it didnt work the login and registration is still there. BTW, set the option "registration" to "no registration" is in the "Checkout" tab in my version. Please advise

Another question, if i can put it there is there a way to minimize the input fields, eg. remove the telephone and change the default country? If so how can this be done. Thanks

Hi,

That option removes the username, name and password fields from the login view of the checkout. It however doesn't remove the whole view. If you want to remove the login part, you can use the CSS: .hikashop_checkout_login_left_part{display:none;}
If you want to customize the address fields, you need to go in the menu Display->Custom fields.
If you want to remove the whole view, you will need to remove the text "login_address_" from the checkout workflow. However, your users won't receive any emails nor will you know the address of the user since the checkout won't ask for that.

In the config under the tab display, you have the CSS zone where you can edit the CSS of HikaShop

You can override all the text in HikaShop in the config under the tab languages.

How do I remove the forgotten username and password functions from my login form?

I still want customers to login with username and password that I have issued and is fixed.

Hi,

You will have to do a Joomla view override. This login form is not ours, we use the Joomla one ;)
