Reference appears at the top of the page

Hi,

When I go to a product page, the product name appears at the top of the page, but ahead of the name, the reference appears (in this case "as_1001_marradas") as you can see in the screenshot. How can I hide the reference?
I just want to bring up the product name at the top of the page.

Hi,

That's because of your template or a plugin like the cuffon plugin which breaks the HTML of the title.

Hi,

I try to remove the code:

<span id="hikashop_product_code_main" class="hikashop_product_code_main">
<php
echo $ this-> element-> product_code;
?>
</ span>

As you described, the control panel, display, visualization, product show.

But when I save the file back to stay with the script that I had deleted. You know what's going on?

Hi,

It's either because joomla cannot write the file to the disk because of access rights issues of because of the code mirror editor which can sometimes cause that.
If you're on joomla1.7, you should try to isable the code mirror editor plugin via the joomla plugins manager and try again.

Hi,

I am using joomla 1.7, i try and disable the code editor plugin via the mirror joomla plugins manager and try again.

But did not solve anything. Deleted code that showed me, save, but the online store on the site remained the same, with the title of the product and the reference in front of it.

Any suggestions?

It has happened before?

Hi,

So you means that the modification was saved this time but that you didn't see the difference on your front end ?
That's probably because you're not editing your view file for your front end template. So make sure that you're editing your view file for the correct template.

That that this problem either comes from your template or a cuffon plugin. So if you deactivate that plugin or the span processing option of your template, you won't see the product_code anymore.
