Price issues - caching?

Hi Nicolas,
when I copy a product, although I update the prices, on the product page, the price from the copied product is shown and not the price of the new product.

However, in the product list for a category, the right price is shown.

I've got all the cache of standard joomla turned off. It's J!1.7.3 and there is no compression on the template (YooTheme Streamline).

When I add the product to the cart, it takes the price of the copied product, not the new price

thanks

Hi,

Do you use the latest version of HikaShop ?

Do you have characteristics in your product ? If so, are you sure you changed the price also in the variants of the product ?

I've got Hikashop 1.5.5

I don't have different prices for the variants.
I actually haven't put any price because it's the same price for an item.
It's just there to chose the size of the saddle.
I've created a characteristic called saddle size and it has 4 values.
then I added this to the product but I didn't manage them because there is no price difference.

Are you saying that even if there is no difference, when I copy the item I should click on manage variants and check the prices there?

Sorry I'm a bit confused when it comes to variants

thanks

so I went and looked at the variants and some had a different price from a copied item. I've changed them to the price of the new product and it fixed the issue.

What I don't understand is that I don't recall setting up prices for the variants since they are the same as the product price. Are prices allocated by default?

thanks

No the prices are not allocated automatically.
By default, they are empty, and the system uses the main product price automatically if none is specified in a variant.
So you must have added the prices in the variants at some point.
