I have imported 5240 product records and receive a message that the import was successful and 5240 product records were added.

"product_code","categories","product_name","product_weight","price_value","product_published"
"300.N.CC","Name Metal Plates","300 Name (ONLY) Chrome on Chrome Plate","1","19.93","Yes"

My guess is it wants something other than "Yes" for the field "product_published"

Yes. It should be 1 and not Yes.

I changed it to "1", but I still have the same problem.

Do you see the products in the back end ? Could you give a link to your products listing on your front end ?

No. The products are not seen in the backend.

You can see the products in the front end by doing a search. For, example, search for "Honda". If you select the product categories and then click on a category, no products for that category will be displayed.

Did you configure a category listing menu in the menu option of the hikashop categories search plugin ? If not, you should do it.

Then, if you don't see the products, neither on the front nor on the back end, it means that they weren't added by the import. Could you try again to import them ?

The menu item type is "Categories Listing".

The products can be seen on the frontend by doing a search; such as "Honda"

I just "unistalled" HikaShop, reinstalled it, and then imported the products again. I also manually added a product. Neither one of these allowed me to get a display of the products in the backend.

Very strange.

All your products have a quantity of 0. So that means that they have no stock.
And in the Display tab of the configuration, you set the option "Display out of stock products" to No.
So that's why you don't see your products on the front end. If you turn on the option you will see them.
