Is it possible to change the order number?

I just installed this wonderful little trinket of goodness and have almost everything figured out. Thanks for the ease of use!

However, I would like to change the order number to a six digit code. Is that possible? I'm just concerned that my customers will see A1, B2, C3, D4 and think, what the heck is that and then reconsider their purchase.

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

Hi,

You can increment the order id following that post:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/forum/4-how-...mer-order-.html#2144

If you want to change the order number format, you can use the option "order number format" in the configuration. You can read more about that option in the documentation: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...hop-config.html#main
This option is only available in the commercial versions of hikashop.

You need to go in phpmyadmin and edit the tables hikashop_order and hikashop_order_product and truncate the tables. That will reset the auto increment to 1 and remove all your orders.

Hi,

If you truncate the hikashop_order and hikashop_order_product tables, then yes, you also want to truncate hikashop_history table.
