It's the joomla search module that you can use which integrates with the hikashop products search plugin.

well I added the search module and yes I think it's working. Yet, does it have the function of choosing the price limit for example?

No. That's a joomla search module.

You would have to create hikashop filters via the menu Display->Filters and use the HikaShop Filter module if you want to do that:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...-filter-listing.html

Thank you very much,

I needed only to activate the search plugins that were disabled.

It works great.

Hello, when the search brings up the results it shows product categories first and then products. Would there be a way to swap these around so that it brought products up first and then the categories below?

Thanks
Iain

Sure. You would have to change the ordering of the HikaShop category search plugin and the HikaShop product search plugin via the joomla plugins manager.

You can set your browser to not display when looking HikaShop categories, to show only products?

Yeah, sorry.

My problem is that when I do a search, I appear in both the categories and the products that contain the search word.

What I want is that I only displays the products, and not show the categories.

I hope I explained better.

You can unpublish the plugin "HikaShop categories search plugin".
And the search will only be for the products.

Hi,

As Nicolas said earlier in this topic, the best way is to create a filter.

You would have to create hikashop filters via the menu Display->Filters and use the HikaShop Filter module if you want to do that:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...-filter-listing.html

Hello,
is there also a way to disable the check and results for "brands" ?
If a shop just uses one brand this could be misleading for users ...

Hi,

You can deactivate the HikaShop categories search plugin via the Joomla plugins manager. That way, it will only search on the products.

Thank you,
also about the products found by the joomla search, it seems that the redirection doesn't works fine, because the url it creates is of this kind:

component/hikashop/product/product-code
but it should be something like:
products/cat/subcat/product-alias

This indicates that the Itemid/Menu parameter of your search plugin doesn't contain the id of a menu item of the type "HikaShop products listing" or "HikaShop categories listing". Do that and it will display a link with the alias of the menu item.
