I'm trying to talk a potential client to migrate their e-commerce setup to Hikashop. One issue he is having and wants to easily be able to do is upload multiple images for each product. Right now, it appears on HS you have to upload one at a time correct?

How would I make it to where they can upload multiple at a time per product?

Indeed, via the interface, you need to upload them one by one.
You can also upload the images in the folder media/com_hikashop/upload via FTP all at once and then link your products to your images or generate the products based on the images with the import feature:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...hikashop-import.html

Hello.

You are not planning to add a multiple image upload feature?

Hi,

It is already in our TODO list.
This feature is already implemented in HikaMarket for the front-end edition. It will ported into HikaShop backend one day, like we are porting the "order edition" for the moment.

If I had known this I would have purchased front end before now. I prefer ftp option when setting up but it is impossible to carry out with this. No search and click ability. Paths aren't always easy to determine. With 2000 products in the initial setup and at least 3 images per a product, the current backend system is so slow

We sent a newsletter several months ago when we released HikaMarket Frontend which presented the new interface that was done for the product edition for HikaMarket. So if you were subscribing to our newsletters you should have seen that.
And as Jerome said, it will be backported to HikaShop backend, once we finish the product edition on the frontend (the characteristics/variants are not handled yet).

Thanks
As a recent subscriber I missed the newsletter. That is okay. Looks like more money to go. The ability to browse for the files on the server would make life so much easier. Anyway. This issue is solved

Hi,

It will come with the integration of the HikaMarket product edition into the HikaShop backend.
We are working on the variants/characteristics edition for HikaMarket, once this development finished, the feature will be completed and ready to be integrated into HikaShop (to not loose current features).

Kind regards,
