Hello, I am designing a new website for a customer, and they need a shopping cart solution. I have reviewed your website, and am very interested in using your product.

My concern is that they are a clothing printing company. That means that they print logo's and designs on hats, t-shirts, and more.

They are using their vendors website now (to save money), but that makes them look small and cheap. I am using Joomla! 1.6 to design them a new site altogether. Here is a link to an example of what they are currently using .

If you click on "Create a Virtual Sample with Your Artwork", you will see that you can do the following there:

click on the word "logo" and upload your logo
click on the work "text" and write in your own text
save it as a .jpg, or email the final look to the vendor

Are these things that we will be able to do if we use your shopping cart solution?

Thanks,

dgaletar

PS - I also wanted to point out that, on your sample pages ( SAMPLE PAGE ISSUE ), at least in Firefox anyway, the images overlap the description:

Hi,

The tshirt design tool you have on your current solution is not available for hikashop as it's a specific tool. HikaShop has the possibility to display fields on the product page so that the user can select the different options for his tshirt(s). That way, you could ask him about the size, colors, text, upload an image, etc.
The information will then be visible for you on the order page. However, the user won't be able to personalize the image/texts onto the tshirt like you have as there is no flash application embedded for that in HikaShop.

Thank you for the PS. That is actually a bug on the previous version of HikaShop which was quickly fixed but the demo website wasn't updated. It's now done.

Thank you for the quick response!!!

Is this possibly something that can be added? I am certainly NOT a flash developer, but I do know a pretty good one that might be willing to help with it.

Otherwise, I am not sure where else to look for something like this.

Thanks,

DG

PS - I see that you did fix that issue with the image, and it looks MUCH better! If I may, though, I would also like to point out that in the "Featured products" area the only option that you have is to add the product to your cart. You might want to consider allowing the viewer to go to the items page where they could see other images of the product, or read the description of the product.

Just an idea...

It could probably be added as an additional custom field type, but we don't have the knowledge at all about flash applications creation on our end so it would have to be done by someone else.

There is indeed no tshirt designer function for joomla ecommerce applications (at least none that I know of). I'm not even sure that it's possible on oscommerce or zendcart.

PS: that is done on purpose to show that it's possible to deactivate the link to the product page on modules with the options provided in hikashop's module. You can find the products themselves on the products listing and access to the product page from there.

OK. Sounds good. So if I can get my friend to help, would you be able to work with him to integrate what he needs to to get the add-on to work with your product? If I have to pay him, I might be able to pass the cost on to my customer. And then you could offer the final product as an add-on if you wanted to!?! Even charge for it if you wanted to. Is that something that you would be interested in???

PS - Makes sense now. Thanks!

We could eventually help him to integrate his tshirt customizer with hikashop.
