My client would like the details of the order to go directly to them (event/ticket registration/purchase). Included within that should be all the info on the form submitted by the user (includes credit card information). We have set-up the process for the user to submit credit card but it will be processed manually by the company and not through a gateway. (see conference.icaj.org/index.php?option=com...ut=listing&Itemid=66 ). Please help or direct me, it is urgent.

Hi,

I tried to order a ticket on your website but never received a confirmation email for my user account. Are you sure that you configured properly your joomla email settings ? Maybe that's what you meant ? That you don't receive emails ?

Normally, hikahsop will send notification emails to the admin when an order is created and when it is confirmed. If you use the credit card collection payment plugin, the credit card information will be split in two. Half will be sent in the email and half will be stored in the order details on the website. That is done for security reasons. Sending the credit card information via email, even though it could be done by doing some modifications to the code, is not something we recommend as it is too easy to have your customers' credit card information stolen.

If you use custom order fields instead of custom address fields, the information entered by the user into them will also be sent in the order creation notification email.

Thanks for the response. The client wants to see the card information so that they can process manually from their point of sale. Sending it half and half not required. Can you inform me how to modify the script so that full details can be stored in the order details on the website, at least. If that is too difficult then sending all order information to the admin will be another option. Will be adding https as soon as I purchase the SSL certificate. The site is to be launched in February.

Oh, the e-mail portion works fine, maybe you misunderstood.

It's not a problem of difficulty. The problem is that storing all the credit card information in one place is not secure. That's why half is sent to the admin by email and half is stored on the website. You really shouldn't save all the credit card information in one place regardless of whether or not you have a SSL certificate on your website.
The admin can use the information in the email and the information on the order page to process the payment manually.

If you still want to have all the information in one place, you can edit the code in the file plugins/hikashoppayment/creditcard.php

Ok, will advise the client and see if they will accept the half and half card info.
