Go to product page after "Add to Cart"

Is there a way to make Hikashop go to the product page after clicking on the "Add to Cart" button so the customer can see the related products?

In my System > Configuration > Display I have selected "Stay and display a popup notice" from the 4 choices available in After a product is added to the cart.

On products WITH variants the button reads "Choose options" which takes the customer to the product page - this is great as the related products are shown below the product.
On products WITHOUT variants the button reads "Add to Cart" which produces the popup but stays on the current page. This is not great as the customer misses the related products.

I would love to see another option in the "After a product is added to the cart" like "Go to the product page"

In the meantime, is there a workaround I can do?

cheers!

Why not just remove the add to cart button from the listing ? That way, the users will always go to the product page in order to add the product to the cart.

Hmmm, yes I tried that but I then have to remove it for all of my products including those with variants, otherwise it looks as though the variant-less products can't be purchased. I think online shoppers are used to some sort of button like Add to Cart, or Buy Now prompting them to perform an action of some sort.

Any other possible solutions would be great!

If you turn off the option 'display "add to cart" button', it will remove both the add to cart button AND the choose options button (which is just an alternative to the add to cart button).

Yes, that works however I have serveral modules (categories) showing on my
product list .

I can work with it for now but still think a Go to product page option is needed!

Thanks for you help Nicolas, always appreciated.

I see what you want to do. You want to display related items of the product which was just added to the cart so that users might buy them, but you don't want them to have to go to the product page to click on the add to cart button if there is no variant to select.

I feel that the solution to that is more along the lines of adding the possibility to display a module of related products on the checkout which would load a list of related products of all the products in the cart.

That would be one way, but I think in my case just going to the product page would be best as each product has different related products specific to each event & location.
