Hi,

I am using Joomla 2.5.9, with yoo-radiance template. Furthermore I use the PDF Invoice plugin.

I did a clean install of Hikashop Business 2.1.1 and so far everything is working just fine. The one thing I cannot do (so far) is to change my invoice layout, because there is no invoice layout. I have checked just about all the forum discussions but I can't find the answer I need.

For the layout I go to "Display -> Displays -> Filter on invoice". The is only the invoice for the backend. Please see the attached screenshot.

What do I have to do in order to be able to change the invoice?

Hi,

With the PDF invoice plugin, you need to edit the file plugins/hikashop/attachinvoice/attachinvoice/invoice.php to modify the invoices generated.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanxx a lot for the useful answer. But, I am no PHP programmer (unfortunately). I am just a simple user :-)

I have to add a logo at the right side of the invoice (the other end of the business details) and at the very bottom I need to add a footer that contains some text.

Would you please help me with that? The current invoice is attached

Hi,

The layout to edit for the frontend invoice is "order / show".

Hi,

It don't require PHP skills but only HTML knowledges.
You just have to add an image "<img src='path/image.png' alt='image_name'/>"
And a div at the end for your text, like "<div class="invoice_text"> Your custom text </div>"

Thanks to search for html tutorials. This support is for bug, or config problems, we don't really support customizations.

Well I have the same problem...;-( ... and I am not in php-programming..;-(

What I don't understand: A business shop should have an easy possiblitiy for invoice management AND layout - I thought Hikashop is more professional than virtuemart (which is a desaster!) - it s such an important issue....!

Hi,

First, please note that this thread is 8 years old.
We've actually improved the view file edition recently and there is now a simple drag & drop mechanism to move around the different elements of most view files:
www.hikashop.com/home/blog/471-hikashop-4-4-3.html#drag
Now, we don't have yet the capabitlity to add new areas configurable like a page builder. That's something we want to work on in the future. That would indeed allow you to add new areas like a logo with zero HTML knowledge.
For now, you need to add the img tag yourself in the HTML code as Xavier said.
PHP knowledge is not required for that. In fact, if you really don't want to edit the view file, you can add your img tag at the end of the "store address" setting of the HikaShop configuration. That way, the image will be placed just after the store address on the invoice.
