System Messages

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : none.

So, when i empty the cart, i get a system message on top of the screen stating my cart is empty. This isn't the only message, and they aren't an issue. My question is......

Can I change where the message pops up? For instance, instead of popping up at the top of the page, use a popup window to show the error? Or put it in the content area? Also, can i turn certain messages off? Is there a setting I have overlooked? Please inform.

The system messages display are handle by your template.
