-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1

Hi,
We are using HikaShop Business 2.4.0 on joomla 3.4.1.

1. As the subject suggest, our goal is to hide the prices to unregistered and make them visible only to registered users.
i did search the forum and found few similar questions ( A . B . C .

however when I try to go with option A, B, C i get the following error:
An error has occurred.
1048 Column 'price_id' cannot be null SQL=REPLACE JNfi_hikashop_price (price_currency_id,price_product_id,price_min_quantity,price_value,price_id,price_site_id,price_access) VALUES (1,28509,0,17.5,NULL,'','all');

On older versions of joomla 2.5 by following A,B,C, solutions creates identical field but, sometime multiple times and using access levels does not give result.

Please advice, thnx in advance.

Hi,

You just have to use the access level settings on the prices in the product edition page.
When you set a price, save the product and then click on the acl icon in the prices part and restrict the price for the other groups than public.

This will display the "Free" text on your products, so you have to do a translation override on the key FREE_PRICE and you can disable the option "Display 'add to cart' button for free products" in Configuration > Main > Products.

Here is documentation for the translations: www.hikashop.com/support/faq.html#tran

Thanks Xavier,
We had multiple key id-s for price, that was creating issues for us.
Corrected and working by following your post.

Xavier, still around?

Same version of joomla and hikashop, different situation.

After adding few products to chart, registered user is informed that produsts are successfully added to chart.
BUT...
After checkout it says chart is empty.
we are using Storefront template.

Hi,

Please be sure that you do not change the domain when you click on "proceed to checkout".
If the domain changed or you are going to SSL ; it's possible that the session is not kept (due to the cookie of the session).

Jerome hi,

We do not use another domain or redirect to another, no ssl either.
Could there be another reason?

Problem is visible only to registered users on juliana-nails.fi/index.php?option=com_hi...=listing&Itemid=1162

Hi,

Can you first clean all the carts via the menu Users>Carts and then try again to reproduce the issue ?
I'm thinking that the issue is probably that you did many tests of your checkout and you actually have many carts for the same user with the same things in it and when you finish the checkout, the cart is cleared and the next one is loaded up and thus you think that the cart is not cleared but the fact is just that you have many carts with the same thing and that's something which will not happen in a normal situation.

Greetings Nicolas,

Checked chart, unfortunately nothing is added, so nothing to clean up.

During migration we followed procedure sent to us by mail.
"Then, for the migration, do the Joomla migration to your new Joomla 3 website, copy the hikashop_* tables from your old database to your new database and rename the tables in order to use the table prefix of your new website. Then, copy the content of the folder media/com_hikashop/ from your old website to your new website via FTP. Finally, install the latest version of HikaShop on your new website and it should find all the data from your old website and you'll just have to configure menus and modules on your new website."

Afterwards we encounter following:
1. we can not create new product.
2. chart is empty.
3. we are getting multiple prices for same product.

we are having a handful of unresolved issues.

Nicolas is there a chance that you or a member of hikashop team could inspect our situation in detail (we will provide login details)?

Hi,

1. Clicking the "check database" button of the HikaShop configuration should help here.

2. Wait ? From what I read before here, @goranmm said that the problem was that the cart was not cleaned at the end of the checkout. But now you say that the issue is that the cart is empty ? Do you mean that you can't add products to the cart ? are both accounts for the same person ? Or are you hijacking another thread for something unrelated ?

3. What about this message: www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/877320-p...ed-users.html#204086
@goranmm said at one point that this worked now. Or it's another problem ?

Before checking the settings in the backend, it would be better to have a clear explanation of what doesn't work (for example with a step by step, with links to the pages, a test user account we can use to reproduce the issues requiring such special access) so that we can first understand the issues. Otherwise, we'll be running in circles for weeks here.

1. database checked, OK on all.

2. still goranm here, did not say that cart is not cleaned if you are referring to demo.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/877320-...ed-users.html#205188 i sad in addition to empty cart that registered users are seeing multiplle prices.
registered users (which were seeing price (multiple prices and we wanted to use only one) are now seeing free as do unregistered ones)

3.(still a problem) we set prices visible only to registered users (that worked for a wile but there were shown multiple prices for all products) newest situation is that even for registered users free is shown and can not add product (which is described) as free to cart
we migrated hikashop and data base from one domain and older version of hika and joomla to another domain and newest version of both (somehow we lost primary keys and auto increment during migration, to add primary keys we had to delete double id-s)

Nicolas, i send login credentials to pm.

Amazing news, today after update to 2.5 of hickashop, everything is working and is in order.

We tested all needed functionality and are happy to report that no issues are found.

Nicolas thank you for good will to help, there is still something you could take a look if you find time.
On www.juliana-nails.fi/index.php/akryyli/akryyli-vaeri (please register)
To registered users multiple prices are shown, what can be done to show only one?

Hi,

In your product configure only one price for each variant for each quantity for each user group and you won't have the problem.
The product I checked, you had two prices for the same quantity, for the same user group for the same currency, so of course you get to see multiple prices when you look at the product:
